The babouche design has changed very little since its inception hundreds of years ago. The key to distinguish a babouche from one of the other myriad moccasins is it simple design. Until recently, wearing babouche wasn’t a matter of style but a matter of utility, just a simple leather shoe you can pair with just about anything. Nowadays, babouche has shown it has staying power with its laid-back insouciance, comfort, convenience and fashion.







Our babouches are made by highly skilled artisans in a small leather workshop in Old Medina of Tiznit using the same time-honored techniques used for generations. Our artisan’s designs are inspired by astonishing Moroccan old sight, nature colors, whirlwind patterns, eye-catching symmetry, and beautiful people.They embrace also modern trend and redesign model to make them more urban to become must-have right now.







Tanneries in Morocco continue to cure animal hides using centuries-old, traditional methods and natural (plants), organic ingredients. The leathers are vegetable-tanned and dyed with natural and biodegradable dyes or pigments whenever possible.
